Dr. Jay Feuillerat


Dr. Jay was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, MN and grew up in a very large family. He attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he studied biology. After completing his undergraduate degree, he went on to the the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he received special recognition for his outstanding work in both prosthodontics and endodontics.

While Dr. Jay was in Duluth, he worked part time in a dental lab. This exposure to the field fueled his passion for dentistry. He realized that creating custom smiles that are both beautiful and fully functional satisfied his artistic desires.

Dr. Jay’s continued education includes completion of a Postgraduate Program in Contemporary, Esthetic and Implant Dentistry offered through the University of Minnesota as well as advanced courses in digital dentistry and endodontic techniques.

In his free time, Dr. Jay enjoys participating in outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, and snowboarding with friends. His personal hobbies include fitness, photography, and international travel.

If you’re intimidated by his last name—don’t worry! He prefers to go by Dr. Jay!


Dr. Samantha Clare


Dr. Clare grew up right here in the St. Croix Valley and knew from the bright, young age of 5 that she wanted to be a dentist. After completing her undergraduate degree in biology and management at St. Olaf College, she immediately joined the next dental class at the University of Minnesota where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2017.

Dr. Clare has completed numerous continuing education opportunities since that time including a Postgraduate Program in Contemporary, Esthetic and Implant Dentistry, the DOCS course in Adult Sedation Dentistry, the Wisconsin-based Restorative Driven Implants course as well as many other hands-on, clinical sessions with both the Zimmer and Spear Institutes. She also enjoys a continued membership with her Spear study club meeting monthly to discuss cases and the latest research in evidence-based dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Clare enjoys traveling both locally and abroad, hiking the state parks with her dog, Murphy and making a plethora of apple pies. She spends her summers gardening and in the winters she can most often be found reading a good book!
